Understanding the Brief

The first stage is to meet with our team so we understand the shape of the event, and the key elements that make this event unique- e.g is there a very tight itinerary on the day/ do they have a particular over-riding theme? We will also consider budget, timeline and client’s priorities in order to propose the best-fitting catering plan.

Shaping the Event

We will carry out detailed site visits to round off our understanding, and start to propose tailored menu ideas and staffing plans, based on the requirements and specific challenges of this particular event. At this stage the bulk of arrangements will be confirmed by both sides, so manpower can be reserved and planning time scheduled accordingly.

Tasting and Fine Details

The devil is in the detail. The small details are the most important ones when it comes to event planning. Back-up plans are made and ‘what-if’s’ are considered to ensure we are ready to adapt plans if needed.
A food-tasting will be arranged as early as possible, once the menu concept is approved, to give maximum time for our chef’s to consider possible improvements based on feedback.

On the day, our Event manager will be on hand for the duration of the event to oversee our sub-teams (led by our Head Chef, Logistics Manager and Head Waiter) and to execute the plans that were carefully laid in the planning stage. All our staff will be fully briefed as to our client’s key needs and are all hospitality industry professionals.
