Beer and Steak – Invisible Kitchen
Notes from the Chef Archives - Invisible Kitchen on April 10, 2013

Party
Notes from the Chef Archives - Invisible Kitchen on March 20, 2013
This month we catered our first Child’s birthday party with healthy AND popular party food for little ones and grown-up canapés. Tom attended the event to set up and oversee the buffet himself, and took on cake-cutting responsibilities (with the birthday boy’s consent)!
Have a look at our party menus.

Still at sea
Notes from the Chef Archives - Invisible Kitchen on February 20, 2013
February saw the launch of Hong Kong Maritime Museum at Central ferry pier 8. Once you’ve meandered through impressive artefacts and educating displays of boats and sea-tales you reach the top deck. Floor to ceiling French windows open onto a sun-deck with 360 views of Victoria harbour and Central Hong Kong. This is where we set up the BBQ buffet which would cap a weekend of events organised for a VIP crowd for the pre-opening.
We worked with our partners to arrange and staff the evening event for over 60 guests, providing a temporary bar and kitchen aswell as a beautiful alfresco dining area.

Notes from the Chef Archives - Invisible Kitchen on January 30, 2013
To see in the new -year, Tom took an 8-day yacht trip from Hong Kong to Halong bay in Vietnam and back again, through a typhoon and 4 metre waves.
Hong Kong Personal Chef had been approached to arrange the cooking onboard for a group of 12 family & friends planning a vacation cruise on the South China Sea.
We planned a full and varied menu for each day and took enough ingredients with us for 45 different dishes! From grilled lobsters to melting chocolate fondants & from Congee to Victoria sponge and banana bread, we had all meals and cuisines covered from morning and afternoon tea t...

Steakadelica
Notes from the Chef Archives - Invisible Kitchen on December 19, 2012
Clockenflap Music Festival brought Primal Scream and De La Soul to West Kowloon this December, and Hong Kong Personal Chef had a stall with a view- serving Organic roast Beef sandwiches to festival-goers over a wet weekend by the harbour.
We teamed up with Meatmarket.hk to supply the organic Australian outback beef and organic chickens while we looked after the cooking side of things- roasting and making lots of our natural gravy.
Although the weather put a lot of people off coming, those who did come out had a great time, and no-one left hungry!

Cooking for Keanu
Notes from the Chef Archives - Invisible Kitchen on June 20, 2012
We heard before most that Keanu Reeves was coming to Hong Kong to film his directorial debut, ’Man of Tai Chi’, a martial arts film co-starring Tiger Chen (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Matrix series)and Karen Mok (Around the world in 80 days). Their filming schedule took them to London and Beijing before finishing off with 8 weeks shooting in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Personal Chef looked after the stars and key production people for the duration of their stay, providing 3 meals and 2 snacks every day to be delivered on location around HK.
We worked with a nutritionalist and Keanu’s own personal chef (...
